Where are you right now? Describe your surrounds. What do you see? What do you hear? What can you smell?
I am currently outside my house, in my garden. Just stepped out for some fresh air because I have been stuck in the house for too long. I can hear birds chirping and it smells like freshly mowed grass.
If you could name this mix, what would you call it?
US to UK.
What do you imagine people doing as they listen to this mix?
Music connects us at a deeper level with each other. I picture a room full of people singing and dancing non-stop. Hearing the crows shout “Ayyy” each time I drop the next unexpected track. Good Vibes only.
If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Element by Pop Smoke.
You wake in the last movie you watched as one of the characters. What movie is it, and what which character are you?
Brown Sugar and I would definitely be Sidney.
You meet 3 millionaires and they want to have a party. Who are they, and what are you playing them first?
Rihanna, Beyoncé and Michelle Obama. Level up, Formation and Savage.
Describe 2020 with an album. What album is it and why?
If 2020 were an album, it would be ‘Heartbreak on a full moon’ by Chris Brown. I don’t know why I feel like an excessive amount of songs sort of mirrors the large number of things that have happened so far. The album also reflected Chris Brown’s personal growth and change. 2020 is the year of change and I believe change is necessary for growth. Life has literally turned upside down but from this, greater things will emerge. Despite these oddities, the world still goes on. Birds still sing; the sun still shines just as Chris Brown still sings.
