Where are you right now? Describe your surroundings. What do you see? What do you hear? What can you smell?

My Apartment, Siting 16 floors above the Gardiner expressway, in Toronto.
The buzz of vehicles passing by is nonstop. This Summer, it has become the soundtrack to my life as the windows are open. The occasional power-bike whizzes by, taking the noise up a notch and forces me to look up from my computer which I am perpetually glued to.
Bacon, brand new fabric and incense is what I perceive at the moment

If you could name this mix, what would you call it?

Dreamweaver in Diaspora.

What do you imagine people doing as they listen to this mix?

Best case: Lucid dreaming, actively trying escape an underground party they are not sure how they got to in the first place. They encounter some familiar voices along the way and then some real weird ones.
Worst case: High as a kite.

What’s your favourite self-isolation snack?

Tokyo hot fried Chicken

Describe yourself with a line from a song.

“They say, they want heaven
They say, they want God
I say, I got heaven
Well I say, I am God.”

If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?

‘Force Laolu’.

You wake in the last movie you watched as one of the characters. What movie is it, and which character are you?

Westworld Is the last thing I watched and I imagine I’d be Bernard.

You meet 3 millionaires and they want to have a party. Who are they, and what are you playing them first?

Abel Tesfaye, Rick Owens, Nabil Elderkin. ‘Force Laolu’.

Describe 2020 with an album. What album is it and why.

2020 is definitely Drake’s VIEWS for me. The album was sonically modelled after the seasons in the North.
I spent the beginning of the year keeping the family close in Lagos. COVID-19 definitely turned the 6 upside down and now we are approaching that ‘Summer’s Over’ Interlude’. The constant in all this, is my view of the city from my desk.
