Where are you right now? Describe your surrounds.
I’m lying on my bed vibing to 6lack‘s Free 6lack Album after a very stressful meeting. I can see my ceiling and I’m thinking about what exactly is going on with my life, because I’m at a very confused place. Then this mail came through and I snapped back into reality and I’m elated to be sharing my mix with you all.
What was going through your head as you were making this mix?
Issssssssaaaa vibe!!!!!
What do you imagine people doing as they listen to this mix
So I made this mix with the notion that whoever listens was going to jam with me. Probably the same way a crowd would jam if I was playing at Ibiza or Tomorrowland.
Describe your mix
This mix is particularly made up of trap remixes of some select jams and there is a couple of dubstep tracks in it that should make listeners rave hard.
Why do you wear the mask? Does it represent anything?
THE MASK……… hehehehe
As much as some people will look at it like a creative process, for me the mask basically divides between Mitchy as a person (female to be précised) from the Mitchy behind the turntables. It also gets me away from male colleagues who I share certain stages with and feel they can pass certain rude and condescending remarks about the fact that a girl wants to DJ. So get them out of my space and FACE…lol….. You can’t even see my face so what are you even saying? I can’t hear you famz! Also I wanted something that will make me standout as a creative so with inspiration from Steloo and DEADMAU5, the mask was born even though it took me a while to man up and wear it after considering the idea for the whole of 2015. Then in 2016, I got the guts to do what I wanted for myself.

My favorite 90’s Jam would be LONDONBEAT – I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT YOU
What’s your first experience with music?
I can’t even remember exactly when, but the music has been in the blood since .
If you could be any animal in the world, what would you be and why?
lol….. I will be a bear, creatively I like to be in solitude.

I hardly watch TV
